In March 1775, Patrick Henry stands up and gives a speech that has traveled through the centuries as relevant and sections of it 'spoke to me'. but it also helped to shape the original revolutionary war as the church in Virginia discussing sending an army to the war, had in the room Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.

this is not to say that this is a perfect moment or a perfect reproduction of what was said as -- having a group of white men, many slave owners, discussing ‘liberty’, or excluding woman (having no rights), or that the speech itself appears to have been trimmed of rhetoric about ‘Indian attacks’, or that even the primary line was a literary fiction.
